Marieliz Morales VegaParticipantA good example of projects that have been modified from their pure shape are some projects from Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Two of the projects that came to my mind immediately are The Mountain in Copenhagen, Denmark and Via 57 West in New York, USA. These two projects were taken out of the basic cube-shaped high rise building with such a simple gesture, that of course involved critical thinking, analysis and process. Compared to the Socrates House, beside the way the density topic was worked, BIG implemented a good functional system, in terms of light and greenery to condition every unit, where residents/users can benefit equally, and enjoy a great view from their context location (in both projects).
