There is a wide range of possibilities which both facilitate and restrict design and form finding processes. I think what restricts my design decisions depend largely on contextual aspects (social, cultural, environmental, economic) for each particular project. The design priority and focus for a project is determined prior to preliminary data collection and site analysis as to highlight major strength points and opportunities to explore; which could lean more to formal qualities at times, and functional ones at other times.
