Urban Density 01: Concept and Examples

1) Having a higher density equals having more possibilities and activity which can be translated to growth in almost every sense. This of course as long at is properly controlled and does not go into the extremes.

 

2) High density biggest challenge is the supply of every service to sustain high quality life in a reduced space. These could be infrastructure, leisure, education, job opportunities, open spaces, etc. Too much density and you might end up over saturating the system.
